I've made some progress on it...sadly just some, but happily just some due to my sweater. Pictures forthcoming of the sweater!

Rambling Rows for Rauscher-to-be

It's baby blanket time! There's another little Rauscher on the way - a little lady - and I'm making the Rambling Rows Afghan in celebration.



I love the color choices and it's flying so far.

I've started spinning...

First, I tried spinning on a friend of a friend's wheel. It went meh.



Next, i got the Louet Drop Spindle Kit. This is my first handspun and plied attempt.



It's terribly inconsistent but actually plying some singles helped me know what to do next...I press onward.
